He holds the Professorial Chair of Neurology, University of Melbourne, and is the Director of the Department of Neurology, Royal Melbourne Hospital. He published many scientific papers and had been a recipient of many national and international awards. Besides being a world leader in stroke, Mark maintains an interest in general neurology and is happy patients with all kinds of neurological ailments.

Even though Dr Yerra has a sub-speciality interest in Epilepsy, he has expertise and is happy to see all other neurological problems. Dr Yerra is passionate about clinical neurology and over the years has accumulated enormous experience in management of common neurological ailments such as headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease etc.,.
