Dr. Ai-Lan Nguyen, Neurologist / MS Specialist

Dr Nguyen is a Neurologist working at Royal Melbourne Hospital, with consultation services at Melbourne Private Hospital, John Fawkner Hospital and Brunswick Private Hospital.
Dr Nguyen completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Melbourne, with postgraduate training at the Western and Alfred hospitals. She undertook specialist training in neurology at the Austin and Alfred hospitals before being awarded the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN) overseas fellowship at The Royal Free Hospital, London (UK). She has completed two fellowships in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuroimmunology, through the University of British Columbia in Vancouver (Canada) and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She is currently completing a PhD though the University of Melbourne, investigating prediction markers, volumetric MRI and pregnancy in patients with MS.
Dr Nguyen practises as a general neurologist with subspecialist experience in neuroimmunological disorders such as MS, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and neurosarcoidosis.
